Public Transport (PT)

Background

Public Transport is a crucial part of any sustainable transport strategy. Oversized PT-systems, however, can be very cost intensive and inadequate with respect to the protection of environmental resources. Adequate organisational structures are therefore a substantial prerequisite for the improvement of PT.

Objectives

Transpower will develop models and solutions of PT that are oriented towards the local demands. These models will be cost effective and affordable in investment and maintenance as well as environmentally friendly.

TRANSPOWER aims to give an overview on the complete range of PT aspects, including technical solutions, financial models and organisational structures.
