Expected Results

The following expected results will contribute to creating transport concepts for least cost measuring and planning, which is cost effective, economical, environmentally friendly and efficient.

· Networking
TRANSPOWER will exploit synergies between small and medium-sized Eastern and Western European cities and link strengths and experiences of relevant partners.

· Municipal Case Studies
TRANSPOWER will identify innovative transport concepts which will be discussed, evaluated and implemented as municipal case studies.

· City profiles
Detailed problems in the relevant fields of urban transport will be analysed, solutions suggested and an implementation plan recommended. The further course of action will be recommended on the basis of the Municipal Case Studies and suggestions for financing the actual implementation of urban transport projects will be made. (EU programmes, PPP).

· Internships
By exchanging personnel new knowledge in the respective work package will be acquired by decision-makers and further competences will be gained. The cooperation between the partners will be strengthened beyond the termination and the scope of the project.
